Online Affiliate Marketing works! But in order to be a successful affiliate you need to develop a list of subscribers to your site. It is the only real way of guaranteed sales.
So how do we do this? I think anyone who has dabbled in online marketing that is their main question and problem. Its not what to market or how to make a great website its how to get people to visit the site and become a subscriber.
The answer is to develop a solid traffic base to your site. This is where developing a core of rich content articles and blog information is vital. Look at it this way, if you can use your articles or blog to build a solid repour with your reader, a trust can develop whereby the reader believes in your knowledge base of the product you are selling and the follow on effect to this is that you can fix the problem they have originally come online to find. Makes sense doesn’t it!
Once this is established people visiting your site are more willing to subscibe to your list and buy from you in the future.
Since I started in affiliate marketing I have read many so called gurus opinions about the potential buyers as being gullible. My experience has been the opposite. People are more attune and confident with buying online and they can smell a seller with limited or now knowledge of a product they are selling very easily so building this a repour with potential clients is vital.
Are articles the only way of developing traffic and repour to a site? No. Of course not. But they are a great way of putting a message across in a professional structured way. One can also look at using media such as Youtube and developing a series of small videos can as a very effective traffic generation tool as can a structured paid traffic generation campaign.
